Button Quinn (Born October 17,1952 New York)
is an English/American painter and gallery owner of COBALT a contemporary fine arts gallery located in the town of Mendocino in Northern California where she is currently living and working. 

Shortly after her birth her English family returned to Somerset, England where Button spent her early childhood and teen years. Button is the seventh daughter of ten siblings. Growing up with an inventor father and an artistic mother Button developed a passion for art early on, she began painting as soon as she could hold a brush.

Though largely a self-taught painter, she attended Somerset College of Fine Arts, Taunton, England, Bringham Theater Schooi, Bringham, England, She studied under Dame Sybil Thorndike Costume Design and Drama, Robert Brothers Circus, England, Trapeze Artist, studied Etching, at the College of the Redwoods in Fort Bragg, California.

Button Quinn's other artistic venues include theatre, fashion & design, (Button's Japanese hand sewn and hand printed kimono is on permanent display at COBALT) textiles, antique textile restoration, silk screening & batik, collage, sculpture, fresco and Trompe-l'œil.

Button's must recent passion has been her Gallery COBALT.  The gallery offers solo shows to exhibiting contemporary artists local and global. COBALT is a unique experience situated on the Mendocino coast in the village of Mendocino.  COBALT is a  spacious gallery with views form the deck and lovely redwood benches to sit and relax on while you view art.
Artists are invited to show their work for two months. In addition, artists have total freedom to exhibit their work in the gallery space. All work is hung and arranged by the artist.

Button currently lives in Mendocino with her 3 daughters and six grandchildren nearby.
